NAEMT: The NAEMT Foundation works to strengthen and build a better future for EMS through funding EMS education and research. One of the challenges facing EMS today is recruitment and retention of EMS practitioners. In an effort to address this challenge, the NAEMT Foundation is offering scholarship opportunities to individuals interested in pursuing a career in EMS. Applications are accepted between March 1 and April 30, and scholarships are awarded in June. The following scholarships are available for individuals wishing to enter the EMS profession:EMS school or program to become certified as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)Amount of Award:up to $1,000, based on the cost of the EMS program and one-year NAEMT student membership.
Platinum Education: Through our scholarship program, Platinum Educational Group’s goal is to provide students entering the EMS, Nursing, and Allied Health fields assistance in funding their education. In 2015, we launched our program for EMS students only. In 2016, we expanded our programs (to include Platinum Tests and Platinum Planner) and scholarships to include the Nursing and Allied Health fields. We are proud to continue to offer students $1,000 scholarships in EMS, Nursing and Allied Health fields for 2019.
